An original old fashioned country general store that has been in operation since 1890. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Creaky wooden floors, old fashioned candy jars, hoop cheese, glass bottle drinks including Nehi and Crush are just a few old timey items you will discover at the Rockford General Store.

We are centrally located in the Southeastern part of Surry County, NC and only minutes away from Greensboro, Mount Airy (Mayberry), Pilot Mountain (Mt. Pilot), Dobson, Winston-Salem, Wilkesboro and the Virginia Line.
